Yes, this is a reprint but I like the image-snow falling gently, etcOk, I am a nut. Hmmm, I suppose you guys knew that already, but let's move on please.
I woke up the morning feeling a little melancholy. While I am excited about the house on the water we are renting in July, I am going to miss this house. I love the unique layout and little touches here and there. Built in lights for bedside reading, little storage areas from the slanted roof, no shoveling steps outside because of the overhangs, bright sunny large rooms-it is a neat house!
I know a couple of you (my 3.75 readers of this blog) were wondering why we are moving so soon. Well, the owners are coming back. It is 95% sure that their company will want them back in Montreal in July. And if not this year, then for sure next year. So, while I would have stayed here longer (cause this is a really cool house!), the situation warrants us to move.
Now, here is a cool little tidbit about the house on the water/ice. Right after Larry found the house we are now renting, someone from his office told him about this house. Yep, the owner's mom works at the same company as Larry. But at that time, we were in the process of signing the lease and didn't think it was appropriate to change our minds. And, it would have been a very hard transition for me with space and furniture. So, to move into the house we have now, we left our formal dining and living room furniture. In the summer, I have to figure out what to do with the family room furniture in the basement and our bedroom furniture for the master bedroom (no matter how I look at the furniture, its just NOT going up those stairs!)

Here is a new invitation. It's bride time and I am trying to come up with some beach type bride invitations. For some reason, beach brides are big up here . . . maybe it dreaming of warm sunny days of something. :)
