I went to the grocery store last night. We needed a few things-milk, eggs, etc. #2 really wanted fig newtons and saltines.
I walk in and for some reason go straight to the apples. I was looking at them thinking-if I buy these, what are the odds that someone will eat them. Hmmmm. It's a toss up. Sometimes #2 will eat something healthy if there isn't anything else handy, if (and only if) he is reallllly hungry. I decided to buy a couple. About that time, a lady who was also buying apples says to me-
Be sure and buy a lot.
I glance up. Not a lot of people say that to me at the grocery store. Well, no one has ever said that to me
Excuse me?
You need to stock up because the grocery store may close.
(ok, she got my attention a bit) Ummm, what?
My son called me and he was called to be put on alert tonight-if the level goes to 6, they will close the grocery stores. He told me to go shopping tonight.
oh, umm, wow. I mean, they CLOSE the grocery stores?
Yes, if it goes to 6
But, we are at 5.
Yes, we are. My son is a medical helicopter paramedic. They put them on alert today and when it goes to 6, they have to report in and have to plan to stay and not go home.
oh. ummm. (ok, I am great with conversation), well thank you for telling me. Wow. How can they close the grocery stores? I mean-I am from the states, I don't think we close grocery stores.
Well, apparently we do. My son was very insistent that I go grocery shopping tonight.
Ok, thanks-thanks very much.
I walk away. Now, I am sure this isn't going to happen. I mean, close grocery stores? But, it did NOTHING to calm my nerves over this flu thing. Not a thing. Yep, it actually got my adrenalin going.
I shopped. I mean, I shopped baby! We got food. But we needed food. And I put it all away and it doesn't look like we have a lot of food (yeah, the cupboards were pretty bare before I shopped).
And to top it off, the store was out of Fig Newtons.
Sigh.

Did you know?
Did you know that if you hook up your cell phone to the computer and have the right software, you can type out and send text messages?
Ummm, did you know that if you write a long message, it is broken up into 7 separate text messages. And #1 wasn't amused. Hey, give me a break, at least I can type it.
To continue the did you know series:
~the roof leaked yesterday. (OMG!)
~the roofer never came to clean up (yes, Dawn it is 9 sharp somewhere in the world)
~I emailed the owner and asked her to deal with the roofer
~I didn't print a thing yesterday
~I didn't call the customer in NJ to talk to her again about her order again that is shipped and I don't really care
~Yeah, yeah, I will call her today (grumble)
~flowers are blooming-guess its too soon to plant anything
~I am allergic to the world (including the flowers above)
~I am allergic to natural shampoos (WHICH is why I want my bottle full of chemical conditioner from the states). Chemicals are really underrated, ya know?
~I ate the box of chocolates that Suzan sent and shared only ONE piece with #2 (well, he took a piece so I guess that is sharing). Hey, it was a small box. A small, heavenly box of my fav chocolates.
~Security opened the card stock that was packed in #2's bags. On both ends. I am thinking they don't get a lot of card stock in suitcases.

A Roof report
I just realized that I am so lacking in the latest in the roof report. You know, my Canadian hobby. It's just a way to keep me on my toes. No sleeping, or lazing around.
Here is the thing, when roofers replace the roof in the middle of winter, well, there is snow on the ground. Soooo . . . things tend to drop through the snow. And even though the roofers clean up, there is a LOT of junk on the ground around the house. Think NAILS, bits and pieces of shingles, the occasional tool, gloves and well . . . nails.
They were suppose to come back once the snow melted. I called em. Ohhhh, yeah, we will come. They didn't show. OK, fine. I called em again. They were supposed to come on Tuesday or Wednesday late afternoon . . . two weeks ago. Guess what. Yep, no show.
Now, I have been distracted but last night, right before I ran #2 to the tux rental store (Men's Warehouse or Moore's as that like to be called up here), I called the roofer. I am sure he is tired of me calling cause I know I am tired of calling HIM. Oh, yessss, you are on the schedule for first thing tomorrow-9am. I gently reminded him that he was supposed to be here two weeks ago and he said-yes, I am sorry. I really am sorry. You are on the schedule for 9am-Sharp.
Ummm, hey folks, it's after 9am. I get it. Sharp means something else in French Canada. It means . . . ummm . . . sometime-maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week.
It's all in the translation folks.

The Prom
Hey, guess what??
I have prom pictures. Yeah. And only ONE was "borrowed" from facebook. I won't tell you which but it was a group shot. :)

#2 is Home. Home, I tell ya. And on his little pocket camera, there were pictures. And nice ones too!

Neurotic Mom Update

Ok, fine. I know you guys already know this. But.
I worry. Ok, deal with it. I worry.
Arrrgghhhhh.
Here is kid update as of lunch time.
#2 is at the airport-well, he got to the airport. And his flight has taken off. I can only hope he is ON the damn plane. I suppose I would hear if he wasn't. It's not like Suzan can walk the kid to the gate and make sure he gets on. She isn't allowed past the first check in. She got him there and he walked past the first check in. He is there. She is home again. I would venture to guess he is on the plane.
#1 is another story altogether. The car is dying. Try being in a town with no car and no mass transportation (yeah, for you non St. Louis folks, they stopped the buses in west county. NO buses. NONE. zip. nadda. NO buses at all-go figure) and family. NO car for the kid. He hasn't even had a chance to look for a job. He is a little stressed. Gee, not sure why. All I can say, is thanks for my friends. Thanks thanks thanks.
Ok, I would like him to come home. He has health insurance here. And here is the kicker from me . . . and you guys are going to love it . . .
. . . I want him to come home before this Flu thing really takes off. I am worried about the border. What happens if they close it? He is there and we are here.
Ok, I want him home cause I don't think he is ready.
But, this flu thing is scary as hell.
Come home, #1.
LOL, too bad he never reads my blog. But, that is a good thing too.

The Kid is tired
Oh, my. #1 is tired. More tired than he has ever been.
This is going to be a hard life lesson for him. Is he ready? I wasn't ready for it at 19. (however, I got a bigger life changing lesson at around 20).
But, I have to say this to all my friends who have offered love and comfort to my children, my hubby and myself . . . Thank You, you are valued and loved and cherished.
I feel better knowing that . . . BOTH my boys are in St. Louis and there are Moms who will look after them.
Thanks, my heart is filled.

Seriously. Not kidding (ok, a little mushy, but I am tired LOL)
He made it
As of 6:30 this morning, #1 is in St. Louis.
Yep, he drove straight through.
Yep, he is tired.
And Yep, I am relieved.

I drove him crazy today-but he was able to drive away

My baby left home today.

Ok, ok, I get it. I am crying. I am driving you crazy.
I am not ready for this. He may not be ready for this. But-he is.
Have it Your Way
ManChild #2 is in St. Louis. Suzan and Scott picked him up at the airport. After a few hellos (I bet Suzan gave the kid a big hug), he said he hasn't had good old Burger King in a while. Needless to say, Suzan drove him directly to the closest Burger King.
Now, I didn't know he was craving Burger King. There are Burger Kings here-well, somewhere. Not all that close. And, you know it won't taste the same, but they are here. The closest one is at the airport (again, somewhere . . . its near the US departures-yep, we drive to the airport daily to get a Whopper . . . snicker)

Funny how the boys know each other. These kids have been together since Young Threes in preschool. Young Threes started in January and it was for those little guys and girls that were too young to start preschool in September.
All seems to be going well. Moms take care of kids. Two moms are looking after my baby.
Thanks MOMS!

Off to the Prom Weekend
It's funny, but I don't do well with change. You would think I would. And sometimes I do, but not today. My ManChild #2 left. It actually got to me.
Why? I am not sure. He is only gone for a long weekend. I think it may be that this foreshadows the future. He is growing up and he will leave. And the odds are that he won't live near us.
For years, I hoped our children would grow up and live near us when they ventured out into their adult lives. But, in today's world, it doesn't happen. Hey, it didn't happen in MY world 30 years ago (but that's another story). I suppose the major part of my issue today is #1 is ALSO leaving in a day or so to return to St. Louis. Yeah, he is really leaving home, but I am not up to that blog yet. Both my boys are going to be gone at the same time. But one won't be coming home after the weekend. Again, I am not ready for that.
But this trip is about beginnings. Beginnings for #2.

Off to the airport. Such a convoluted drive to finally get to the Montreal Airport. Once you get off the highway, let's just say, no straight roads, lots of turns, bends, round abouts and sudden turns. But, Hubby was used to this and got us there with no problems. He explained each and every turn. He expected us to remember it. Hubby really lives in his own little world.

The parking structure has digital signs on each level telling you how many parking spaces. Each space and the lanes have some sort of optics that monitors the parking garage. You can't see any but when I took the camera out to take a picture of #2 by the van, you could see all sorts of vertical blue light lines in the camera monitor. The light lines didn't show up on the pictures.

And speaking of pictures, forgive these rotten pictures. I am not sure what I was thinking or doing, but focusing wasn't it.

Off he goes on Delta (yeah, I know I said Northwest, but Northwest booked us on Delta).

Customs forms had to be filled out, boarding tickets, and checking in the first part of the security. We couldn't go past the first check in part.

the tux fitting
No pictures. Nope. Not going to do it, cause I KNOW someone will look. But, I will post a couple maybe the night of the prom. And if the teens who have promised pictures actually send pictures, then there will be real, prom type, cool pics a couple days after the big event.
My baby* is flying away tomorrow. I shouldn't be worried. He has flown to Italy. But, I am worried. What if he gets lost at the airports? No direct flights to St. Louis. Stop overs are killers.
Why, you ask, am I worried? Cause #2 gets lost. You think I get lost??? Let me tell you . . . this kid gets LOST. But, he made it to Italy, he walked around in Italy, surely he can make it to St. Louis. Tell me he will make it. Whine.
Oh, well--off to find his passport, etc.
* in terms of babies . . . I have decided both of my ManChildren qualify as "my baby" since they are only 13 months apart. So either, they are both grown up, or both my babies. My blog-so they are my babies.
And #1 is leaving in a couple days to drive to St. Louis-don't even get me started on that. #1 doesn't get lost as much. He will stop and ask.

Movie Critique of the day
We ordered Twilight on Pay Per View. I have been wanting to see it but not really wanting to buy it.
I hate to burst any one's bubble on this movie. But. Well. Ok, fine-it's not great cinema. It was maybe ok, but I wouldn't have been happy if I paid a real ticket price to view it or actually bought it! "Maybe OK" might be a little too nice of a critique.
As #1 and I sat and watched the movie, #2 slowly came in halfway through. I heard him giggling. Now, this wouldn't have been a problem if it was actually a part of the movie that was supposed to be funny. It was a serious part. Ok, as serious as this movie can get. A bit later, I hear outright laughter. I finally had to tell him to refrain. He couldn't. He left.
#1 and I stayed and watched the entire movie. #1 wasn't impressed.
#2 has been teasing and harassing me all evening ever since.
And, to top it off, I actually bought the books. I had seen so many people on blogs saying how great the books were. I hope they are better than the movie (which had potential but missed the mark).

A Weekend lost to Migraineville
Wow, now that was fun.
Friday night, I started feeling a little strange (ok, more strange than I normally feel). Then the ol vision did its middle of the sight blurry thing. Hmmm, always a big knock on the door of my life that a migraine is about to invite itself in. Then-oh fun, the flashing, zig zag, geometric lights started. If I didn't know that a killer of a headache was going to follow, I might find these interesting. Nice designs and good use of white vs black in a flashing, shiny sort of way.
But, no worried, kiddos . . . I have migraine meds. I don't get a lot of migraines (maybe one every 2-3 years). Normally my meds have expired when the headache hits. But I had fresh, new meds that I got refilled right before we moved (and I did have a migraine about a year or so ago). These meds work. Take two, then every hour take one until the headache is gone. The sooner you take the meds in the process of the migraine, the better it works. Since I knew pretty quick, I chugged a couple right away. Larry put on the timer and gave me a couple more as the time allowed. I went to bed-cause that is the best place when one has a migraine.
I woke up Saturday with a small headache. But I didn't have that "hit by a truck" body aches I normally have. I was pretty cocky when I told Larry that I really got that migraine fast and its allllllllllll gone. Yep, I was great.
Two hours later, the flashing lights started. Oh, man, that has never happened before. So, I get my meds (and just so you know, I only has 10 pills to start), down a couple and head to bed. Larry gives me a couple more. Cool, the afternoon arrives. A slight headache. A couple hours later, WHAM. The lights start again. I have a word for this but I will refrain cause I am a lady (ok, bloggers, stop laughing). I take a couple pills and go to bed. Don't bother me, I am staying.
Sunday morning. I am cautious. I don't feel bad. A little headache (yeah, I am getting the key here, little headache isn't a good thing). Yep, a couple hours later, HELLO lights. Now, I don't have meds. I used them all up. I could go to the hospital and get the shot (but, I really hate the way those shots make me feel, besides, who wants to sit in a waiting room for hours when one is in the middle of headache hell?) I go to bed. I stay there until evening.
So far (and I hate to even say it at this point), no headache.
But, along the way, I lost my weekend. I think there was a Saturday AND Sunday in there somewhere.
*Update on Manchild #2. Hair is cut, tux is coming in a day or so, plane leaves Thursday. Prom is Saturday.

Flowers and such
Ah, spring. It's here. Really. And even if it snows again (which it might) the flowers and birds are demanding attention.

When I took these pictures this morning, my neighbor came out to take out her trash and said--- ohh, come back when they are done. I wasn't sure what she meant. Then she said-the sun and pointed up. Come back when the sun is up and over the flowers because they will open. Ahhh, okkies. She is from Poland, so English isn't her native language and she can't speak French. Yeah, I am not the only one who doesn't speak French here.

But, there is a downside. Besides my yearly sneezing and drippy eyes, I have seen one nice long spider web strand. Yeah, they are back too. Too bad! LOL

A cool gadget
One of my Christmas presents was a can opener. Yep, a can opener. Now, I didn't know I wanted a new can opener, but apparently the family knew it.

I used to have a can opener that cut on the side-not the top. The only problem was I would have to relearn how to use it each time I opened a can (I suppose that is a hint on how many cans I open). I bought it at a home show-you know the type-invite ya over, feed ya a little and then sell ya stuff. And I did like it, but-like I said, I would forget how to use it, then grumble as I stood there and looked at it. If a ManChild walked by, I would ask him to do the can. Now, I am not 100% positive, but I think that might be the reason for the new can opener this Christmas!

This little puppy is cool. Let me tell you! When I first opened it, I eyed it with suspicion. But, one time using it and I was sold. All you do is place it on top of the can, press the green button and watch it go around. No hands, no learning curve. It cuts on the side, it cuts well, and its easy. Looks a little funny, but, funny works.

So, folks, what did you have for lunch?
I am sitting here snacking on lunch. It's a noodle bowl. I always have liked noodle type things. Yummy.

I discovered these at Costco up here. I was wondering if it is in the states. While most things at Costco are US and Canada, there are a few things only offered up here.

Your assignment, if you choose to accept it, is to go find Asia Noodle bowls. Let me know if they are available. And eat one if you are so inclined. It's easy and everything is in the bowl- noodles, sauce, veggies (ok, freeze dried sort of vegetables), sesame seeds (no, I don't eat those, DAWN), and a spoon. Yep, a spoon for you working folks who throw this in the briefcase and run to work.
Just a few . . .
Just a few small differences and some small similarities:
Tax day is the end of April instead of April 14. Makes the 14th just another day instead of the most dreaded day of the year.
People still rent movies up here-like from a video store. Think Blockbuster, mom and pop type stores, etc. And there are movies in those stores. Wow. (And, no, not gonna rent any-I hate late fees).
The stores just don't get the idea of restocking during the day-or perhaps putting out a lot of the high selling things. Come on, folks-enough of running out of Diet Coke so often.
I have to repeat the fact that . . . YES, there really are full service gas stations. Where the attendant pumps your gas-for free. Really-no kidding. I am still not used to that.
I haven't found a full service car wash. MainMan's comment was, well, guess they do things themselves up here. (whine)
NO craft stores close. NONE. There is one downtown-and its not a big one. The closest Michael's is in Ottawa. (That's not close). Never thought about not having a Michael's. I just assumed there would be a craft store. Or a small craft store. Walmart only carries just so much-ya know?
Love the cool and interesting food in the grocery stores. Not too sure the family loves that however.
The banks are NOT drive through. However, our bank is open until 6 or later (depending on the day) and all day Saturday. The ATMs are inside.
McDonald's is drive through (just thought I would throw that in-drive through is up here-just not for banking).
Canada takes its time. Let's just say, the government is never in a hurry. Neither are companies. It constantly reminds me that the US is consumer driven-and other countries don't really give a crap. It will get done, in their own time, when they feel like it. Sit down and enjoy the ride.
Canadian raccoons are the same as American raccoons. Yep, they are both rascals.

Happy Easter
Happy Easter! The weather here has be quite nice. A bit chilly in the evenings but pretty and clear during the day. The Easter bunny brought us some chocolate goodies. Yum. Always a fun part of the year.
I am hoping for more green around soon. The bulbs are really coming up and the grass is looking better-but it has a long way to go. Green, folks, green. Isn't that the new politically correct word? Green? So, let's have at it up here!
And a little image of my next invitation. It may or may not be finished. I am still thinking about that.

Hmmmm, Make it a Double
If you are wondering why I haven't blogged as much as some of YOU demand, its-well . . . cause.
Good enough? It was when the boys were little. I would say-just because. End of story.
But the real reason is that sitting for a long time is not all that fun. Neither is standing for that matter. I am squirmy.
Here's a hint:
Oh MainMan, please pick up some cranberry juice on the way home. Hmmm, make it a double.

Eric, are your eyes itching?
I opened the door and sneezed. Yeppers-it's that time of the year again. I was sort of hoping that since we moved to the sub freezing, ice age, cold and snowy north, that my allergies would disappear (one can always dream).
So far, they are not that bad. But, only a few things are growing.
If I was in St. Louis, I would be calling a friend and asking if her son was sneezing or itchy eyes. We have the same allergies. So, Eric, you would sneeze up here too.
And for the record, Eric is pretty smart when it comes to Canada and Quebec. Much more so than my adult friends. He knows who the guy is who is sort of the president of Canada (that would be Prime Minister), the rivers around here, that Quebec wanted to leave Canada and form its own little country, etc. Hey, maybe the school system isn't as bad as we think. Or maybe, Eric pays attention (and other didn't or don't-including ME when I was in school).
Oh, and for Eric and his sneezes . . . Bless you!

a bunch of grumpy males
Today was a nice spring day. Yep, we woke up to flurries. Mid morning, I was actually amazed by the size of the snow flakes mixed in with the rain. BIG flakes. Like they went "plop" when it hit the ground. Nothing much happened in terms of staying on the ground until evening. Then we got a dusting.
MainMan was watching TV, and I walk in and comment on the snow.
Oh, look MainMan, it snowed and its sticking.
Yeah, and it's pissing me off!
?? How come?
Cause, its not supposed to snow in April.
Well, ok. Fine, hon. But we live in the middle of the ice age up here. Never mind.
Then ManChild #2 came home from school.
AArrrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-its SNOWING! It's not supposed to snow in April.
Umm, well, it could be worse, you could be in South Carolina and dealing with snow (that didn't help his mood, but I thought I would throw it in)
Then, ManChild #1 comes up and says-
OMG, its snowing and its April.
At this point, I wanted to tell him to take a ticket and get in line, but instead I just said something like the other guys have already commented and they were much more intense . . . #1 will have to work on his intensity.

KC went out this evening. He wasn't happy. There was snow outside.
I hate to say it, I thought it was pretty. But, then again, I am the only female here. Pretty counts for something.

Off to the tux place we went.
It's Prom season down in the lower 48-well, in St. Louis. And Manchild #2 has a date. Yep, he is going to go to his senior prom. He has the plane tickets, and will have the prom tickets if the school store ever answers the phone. But, he needs a tux. For some reason, he doesn't have one in his closet.
Off we go. I am pulling out of the driveway. I stop and take his picture. I think he knows what is going to happen. Nice thing, I can (and did) say that these pictures were for his special lady to view. So, all you old ladies out there in blog land, remember that when you see how photo heavy this blog is today.
On a side note, if you notice out of his window in the picture. Yeah, things are growing in the yard. We are getting something coming up. I wonder what it will be? Lots of bulbs are coming up all around here. People get into flowers here! Big time.
Ok, back to the tux fitting adventure. We went to Moores. Moores is owned by Men's Warehouse. Looks the same inside the store (well, except that the signs are in French).
He narrowed it down to a clean cut tux. This isn't the right size, just a sample jacket to pick from. I am so glad the kid didn't want to go with some sort of strange color for his jacket.
Shoes-well, its ether square or sort of rounded. He picked sort of rounded (again, good choice, kid!)
Nothing says I love my mom than having her take a picture as you walk out of the dressing room. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
This is the vest and tie. But black shirt. The shirt he tried on was just for fitting.
It's ok, sweet heart, mommy will be finished taking pictures soon (snicker).

He is going to be so handsome. I wish I was going to be there to really bug him and take tons of pictures. Annie has promised pictures. Now, I could ask Momma K to run over to Momma S's house and take pictures. Or, I could have Momma S take pictures. Or I could have Momma D and Momma K run over to Momma S's house and they all take pictures.Or, I could trust that I will get at least one good picture from the kid and the special young lady.

A hint of things to come . . .
Poor ManChild #2. He has ME as a mother. Now, I try to be nice and not take pictures of him all the time. Actually, I am much better that I was in grade school when the camera was always around my neck and I was the yearbook mom (do you think they even remember?).
But, back to the present. The NOW. Yeah, like today. It's Monday and its raining and I am a little bored (never a good combination for little ol me). So, #2 walks by. Hmmmm. He needs to go get fitted for his tux and get his hair cut (you can't wait until right before the dance to get it cut cause it will have that "new" cut look). The hair place is closed today, so that leaves the tux.
We are going in a bit. Yep. Mom and kid. Walking into the tux place (they must love that sight when they see it coming). And, well, I am thinking of taking the camera. Should I? I mean . . . think of it-baby getting his tux fitting.
I wonder how long he will be mad at me for taking the camera? For pulling it out in the middle of the store and taking a picture? Is it worth it? Is it worth the pain and suffering I will have to endure once I put HIM through the pain and suffering of having me take a picture of him . . . in public . . . in a store . . . trying on a tux. (All things he doesn't like to do . . . snicker)
Stay tuned.

Girl Scout Cookies
Girl Guide Cookies are NOT Girl Scout Cookies. Even though the organizations are sort of the same, with a global connection of WAGGGS, the cookies don't match.

Whine.
Today, a neighbor and her daughter (both named Helen), came to sell us Girl Guide Cookies. I have seen the sign near our house (there is a place where local organizations can put street signs-"come sign up for swimming lessons, boating lessons, softball, hockey, cookies coming, etc). It had on the sign the trefoil symbol that used to be the Girl Scout symbol. Remember that? Girl Scouts have a cookie like it.

I was looking forward to cookies. Let me count the ways. Yum. Then the doorbell rings and all my dreams are dashed. DASHED I say! They sell ONE type. ONE. And its not even one that I know. ONE!
But, Helen said that they also sell the Thin mints in the fall. Sigh.

Just a little update
Let's see-what is happening around here? Not a lot, but some little things, I guess.
I booked the moving company for July. Sounds easy right? Nope. I asked the owner of the house we are in now if we could stay a bit longer in July so we could move on July 8th. She said yes. So I called the moving company and reserved that date but I have to get the security deposit to them to hold the date (these dates go fast so its important-everyone tells me). Yep- so the check (or cheque) is in the mail to the moving company.
In a way, moving on July 8th is a good idea. It gives us a week to move some boxes and things ourselves-which will slightly lower the cost of the movers. PLUS, I can look around the new house and figure out where to put the furniture.
We signed the lease and I wrote the checks (ok, or cheques) and got an email saying I wrote them to the wrong person. It said on the lease that the rent checks go to the parents, so I wrote the check out to the parents. But the rent is supposed to be written out to the owner and given to the parents.
We ordered the plane tickets for ManChild #2 to go back to St. Louis for the prom. Next up is the tux, etc. And a hair cut. Annie likes his hair a bit long and wild, so that's easy! If he gets it cut today, it will be long and wild (in a straight hair sort of way) in about 3 days. I am ordering the Prom tickets today (hopefully). Still don't know how #2 is going to get to the prom, but that will work itself out or he will be dropped off downtown by some mother (LOL, oh, he would so love that, wouldn't he!!)
The snow is mostly gone, except on the sides of the roads where it was pushed to clear the roads or driveways. The grass is slightly starting to grow. There may be buds on some trees-not sure about that. We can get our regular tires back on the cars, but it costs money and there is a long wait at the service place . . . cause, well, everyone is getting their tires switched at the moment. What do people do who live in apartments with 4 tires that need to be stored?
