My brother-in-law, D from Vancouver Island (again- far, far away from here), sent me a cool link for the seaway system up here. Now, I know I should know more about the Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence River, etc., but I don't. I know a little. The Great Lakes are big. Yeppers. Lots of lakes there. Can't see to the other side, really big. And the St. Lawrence River is a big river, and south of Montreal Island, and really BIG ocean ships go on it. Big. Yep, I know a lot.

The site explains a lot about this system. Ships can come inland from the ocean through to the great lakes. That's pretty far. And these ships drop off and pick up stuff (think cars, etc).
Yep, no ships. Gee, I wonder why.

To give you an idea of where we are now, and where we will be in terms of Larry's office . . . here ya go. Dang, I am teaching y'all all sorts of things. LOL, yeah, right.

This is the photo from above. I am not sure if I have the house, but it is either that one or the one next to it. Hey close enough.

Hi Hun
It is the one next to it. You can see it on Google Earth better, (the bige garage is recognizable). XXOXOXOX
Maybe not the one next to it. Probably yours. I will have to drive by again to make sure.
