The roof . . . stay tuned

Yesterday it got warm here. Now, that is a Montreal "warm", which means above freezing. It snowed Thursday evening a bit and then started a drippy drizzle mid afternoon. By the late evening, I heard a drip. Not much of a drip but a drip. Slowly, a tiny bit of water had worked its way down and dripped upstairs.

We had a plastic storage container (well, three LARGE plastic containers) still located under the drippy area. I am learning. Keep the containers under the ceiling. Since they are empty, any drip sounds pretty loud.

So, here's my thought-or question. Was the water actually ice that was left over before they corrected the roof this week? We had a flash freeze from the last time it was "warm", so any water would have frozen pretty quick. If there was ice under the roof, then once it warmed up a bit, then it would leak.

OR-is the roof actually leaking?

And if it is leaking . . . well, sighhhhhhh.

I suppose I could take a picture of the ceiling. But do you really want to see that again? Nah. So, I could put some random picture up. Random works at times.

Spring is coming, I know it is. Sometime. Somewhere.
