Spring Maybe?

Today, we are having a guest photographer. A big round of applause for the photos from Son #1. Clap, clap, clap. yeah!!!Last week, the lake melted. We had a big storm front come in with lots of wind. The wind and resulting waves really did a number on the ice. One day, you could walk on the ice (NOT that I would with all that water around the edges), and the next-water.
Warm days helped spring come alive. I know this by my itchy eyes and sneezes. Oh, yeah, it has just started. Just buds on the trees . . . think how much fun I will have when everything blooms.I really want to plant flowers because it has been so pretty. But no one plants until the end of May. mannnnnnn-that's going to drive me nuts. However, there aren't any flowers to plant yet, and who wants to plant flowers that will die with a cold spell? Maybe mid May I will buy flowers from Costco and keep them in the sun room until the end of May. We shall see.

great pics - he can clean AND take pictures - multi talented. I am off tomorrow to drive to Ohio. I am pretty sick with a head cold. So we will see how this goes. If I don't get any better I may have to wait until Friday morning. Wish me luck.

Sorry you are sick. :( I hate colds. Try liquid children's Tylenol and sip a little to help with the sore throat.

Yeah, he is being multi talented. I love it when the kids are being helpful. I need to remember that on other days. LOL

Have a wonderful time in Ohio. :)

I really like that last shot with KC, the lighting is beautiful.

When I want to plant flowers at this time of year I get pansies and primulas, they last pretty good through any cold snaps and they have lots of great colours. I've even had pansies last well into the summer. They get a bit gangly but I find if I pinch them back regularly they last pretty good. Sorry if this is advise that you already know, sometimes I just don't know.

I've also been up since around 4 am so I'm a little punchy.

Take care,
Tricia
